My name, Aisling, is pronounced ‘Ash-ling’. It’s an Irish name and means dream or vision, but I’m not Irish – I just have red hair
In 2024 I received a First-class degree with honours in International Business Management.
I do a mixture of both types of flights, but mainly long-haul ones – which I love!
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved aviation. When I was 13, I decided I wanted to be Cabin Crew and that I would do whatever it took to become one. I got braces and closed my tooth gap, got my teeth whitened, worked in many customer service roles as soon as possible, did a Cabin Crew course, studied related subjects – and so much more!
Luckily, all that hard work paid off in 2022 when I got the role with a hugely respected airline on the first try!
That being said, you don’t have to do all of this to become Cabin Crew – I know so many people who have just decided to change their life path. So, if it’s something you’re interested in, go for it!!!
Yes, but only if it’s from a brand that I love and believe in – basically, I wouldn’t promote something that is shady or bad quality. I will always make it clear whenever something is an AD/Gift/PR/Sponsored because I believe in transparency and being authentic with my audience. I’ve visited around 45 countries so far (as of 2024). My most visited country is Belgium because I’m half Belgian, and my second most visited is Poland. I’ve been to the USA, Spain, Thailand, UAE, Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Vatican City, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Holland, Belgium, France, Poland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Barbados, Jamaica, Japan, Bahrain, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, China, Pakistan, Sweden, Brazil, Nigeria, Albania, Kenya, Canada, Jordan, Hong Kong, India, Luxembourg, Egypt, Denmark and Wales (does it count?).
I used to live in Belgium and Poland! My favourite countries have to be Japan, Poland, Pakistan, Morocco and Czechia!
I speak a bit of Flemish/Dutch. I’m currently learning Polish, as I used to live there and want to learn some more. I can also speak a bit of Spanish, French and German too.
I honestly can’t answer this question with just one answer! I’d love to visit almost every country. Currently, I have my eyes on Canada, Peru, Australia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Norway, Bolivia, Singapore, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, and Rwanda.
I will make a more detailed post in the future, but I currently use my phone, a tripod, adobe lightroom and a SONY A6000.
I think every country has good and bad about it, so there is no country I truly dislike. However, I am not in a rush to go back to the USA as I’m there every month for work (I have not one, but TWO US visas lol!) and have been to France so many times, I want to leave it a few years before I go back again.
