Begin your day in Palma de Mallorca with a delicious breakfast at many locals’ favourite place, Brunchit Coffee and Kitchen. This cafe serves up fresh pastries, beautiful pancakes, tasty toast, and delicious coffee.

After fuelling yourself with breakfast, make your way over to the Gothic Quarter of Palma de Mallorca. Explore the narrow streets, unique shops, and historic architecture as you wander through this stunning area – and try not to get lost; luckily, you have 3 days in Palma de Mallorca to get to know it all. One interesting fact about the Gothic Quarter of Palma de Mallorca that you may not know is that it is home to the oldest walled city in Spain, dating back to the 13th century – which is very impressive if you’re into history!

Next, take a break from the hustle and bustle by relaxing in one of Palma de Mallorca’s beautiful parks. There are many to choose from, but I would personally recommend Parc de la Mar. At this park, you can enjoy the lush foliage, flowering trees, and picturesque views of the city – and the beautiful Cathedral towers near.

It’s a must to visit the Palma Cathedral. The iconic building is a stunning example of Gothic architecture and has been standing since the 13th century. Inside the cathedral, visitors can admire the intricate stained-glass windows, ornate sculptures, and soaring arches.

Afterwards, it’s a great idea to take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront of Palma de Mallorca. The beautiful harbour views are a stunning sight to behold. As the sun sets, head over to a local restaurant for dinner – which is one of the strongest points Palma de Mallorca has to offer, as there are many delicious regional cuisines to choose from.

Day 2 – Drach Caves Day Trip:

3 days in Palma de Mallorca

For a day trip from Palma de Mallorca, take a trip to the spectacular Drach Caves. Located on the eastern coast of Mallorca, the Drach Caves are a network of stunning limestone caves and are a great way to experience the beauty of Mallorca and its natural wonders. It’s easiest to book a tour to visit the Drach Caves, as sometimes public transport can be a bit difficult.

Visitors can admire the stunning stalactites and stalagmites, as well as the incredible underground lake, where you can witness and listen to a beautiful classical music concert unlike any other you’ve seen before.

A visit to Drach Caves should take around 1.5 hours in total, and there are facilities nearby such as food and drink, toilets and some shops to browse in and purchase some traditional Spanish souvenirs from.

After exploring the caves, make sure to stop by the nearby village of Porto Cristo, which is home to a quaint marina and beautiful beaches. If you do visit Porto Cristo, then be sure to take a stroll along the waterfront and admire the colourful boats and yachts in the harbour, and you can even take a boat ride on some if you would like. There are also several small shops and cafes to explore as you wander through the picturesque town.

Once back in Palma de Mallorca for the evening, it can be a good idea to go out and experience the fantastic nightlife the city has to offer! Some of the best bars in Palma de Mallorca to visit are: Times Square Music Club, Galactic Club and Kaelum Club.

Day 3 – Bellver Castle:

3 days in Palma de Mallorca

On your last day in Palma de Mallorca, be sure to take a trip to Bellver Castle. Perched atop a hill overlooking the city, the castle offers stunning views of the bay and the surrounding landscape. Tourists should visit Bellver Castle for its breathtaking views of Palma de Mallorca and its surrounding landscape. The castle also has a fascinating history and is a great place to explore the city’s culture and architecture – and to get some great photos!

After admiring the views, take a leisurely stroll through the castle’s lush gardens. In the afternoon, take a boat trip to the nearby island of Cabrera. Here, you can explore the island’s lush nature and enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters – or if you’re like me and prefer to be a bit more hands-on, why not try Kayaking?!

Kayaking in Palma de Mallorca is a relatively cheap activity to take part in, with prices starting at around €10 per hour, and some companies also do kayaking tours where you will be able to explore the caves that others don’t get to witness. One of the best Kayak Rentals in Palma de Mallorca is El Niño Surf Centre, which also offers the option to do Wind Surfing or Paddle Boarding too!

On your way back to Palma, stop off at one of the waterfront restaurants for a delicious dinner and make sure you watch the beautiful sun as it sets over the sea.

Tips for Visiting Palma de Mallorca:

After visiting Palma de Mallorca, here are the best tips that you need to know when spending 3 days in Palma de Mallorca:

  • If you wish to see more of the island, then the best way to do it is by renting a car. The public transport in Palma de Mallorca can be good in some ways, but if you want to travel to lots of different places, then sometimes you can’t get there by bus – and it can be too hot to walk.
  • Palma de Mallorca is very popular for cycling, so if you’re an avid cycler – make sure to rent a bike at least once on your trip.
  • Many places, especially some of the buses, only take cash – make sure you have enough.
  • The ATMs can charge a lot to withdraw money, so ideally, have some euros before you go or wander away from the “touristic” areas a bit to find some ATM machines that charge less.
