What is Worcestershire famous for?

What is Worcestershire famous for? Worcestershire is famous for lots of things, but it is mostly known worldwide because of Worcestershire Sauce! This sauce was originally made by Lea & Perrins in the 19th century in Worcester. The sauce is commonly served with lots of different dishes, such as deviled eggs, beef stew and Ceaser salad. It’s an acquired taste as it’s made out of vinegar, anchovies, garlic, onions and more – I don’t like it!

How do you pronounce Worcestershire?

How do you pronounce Worcestershire? Worcestershire is pronounced as ‘Woos-ter-sher’. It always makes me laugh when my friends from abroad come over to visit and try pronouncing it, but realise how different it sounds! They usually think I’m lying when I say how it’s pronounced.
