Lisbon is one of the most photogenic cities in Europe! The colours are vibrant, the architecture is charming, the food is dreamy – you will want to take photos of everything to remember it all! Luckily for you, I’ve compiled a list of the best Lisbon Instagram photo spots to get the best photos!
Contents:
Pink Street

Pink Street is the perfect place in Lisbon to get a photo full of colour! It is very easy to find, as it’s located near the main centre. The street is filled with restaurants, so it’s also the perfect place to stop and have a bite! I suggest going in the early morning to get an empty street unless it’s off-season.
Miradouro de Santa Luzia

Lisbon is filled with Miradouro’s – which are viewpoints of the city. They offer a fantastic view of the city – and make for great photos. Miradouro de Santa Luzia is one of my favourite Miradouros as the view was spectacular, and it was relatively quiet. It’s one of the must-do Lisbon photos! I recommend going around 11 am to get the sun and people-free pictures!
Cais das Colunas

Cais das Colunas are located right on the edge of Lisbon. They are known as the entry point of Lisbon and are the perfect representation of Portugal’s history. I recommend visiting in the early morning to miss other people; however, I don’t believe it gets overly busy here.
Fonte Sul do Rossio

This pretty fountain is located in the middle of Rossio square. It’s such a photogenic spot for photos! It does get very busy, so go as soon as possible. There are also people trying to sell you things here, so watch out!
Alfama

The Alfama district is the oldest district in Lisbon – making it perfect for rustic photos. The streets are often empty, so you’ll be able to take amazing photos. There are also many cute little orange trees and flowers if you look hard enough!
Arco da Rua Augusta

One of Lisbon’s most famous icons is Arco da Rua Augusta! If you visit Lisbon, you can’t miss it! It makes for great photos on either side you choose to take a picture of!
If you’ve ever visited Lisbon, tell me where your favourite places for photos were! If you’re visiting Lisbon and take pictures of any of these locations, feel free to show me! You will also probably want to give my other post a look – ‘How To Spend a Weekend in Lisbon, Portugal’.
